Greek organic mountain tea of the variety Siderits Scardica in a hand-filled tea bag is refreshing in summer as a cold drink and extremely soothing in winter as a hot tea. Two grams of tea leaves are well enough for a liter of tea. Our field is located at an altitude of 700 meters near Elatochori in the prefecture of Pieria, with a view of Mount Olympus. Up here it rains relatively often, and the conditions for the mountain tea are ideal. It is harvested by hand in June - this ensures that the flowers remain intact. Drying is done - as in the past - only with the help of the mountain air, which can take six to seven days.
