History: Nestled down a traditional street close to Reims, in the historic Champagne region, you’ll find Champagne Jean Boucton.
What quickly becomes clear when you hear about Jean Boucton is it is all about family. Our champagnes are born out of close tie within the same family of long-established producers. Based in the same village, each family member runs their own property and vineyards and while every property has its own range of champagnes, we have pulled together to create a new high-end range of vintage and cuvée champagnes independent of those. Also, champagne Jean Boucton is a one of a kind family arrangement. It’s a novel idea which manages to harness the best that each family member and property has to offer into a single signature style. Our family is united in a vision, using our expertise to create a unique range of cuvées, driven by passion, dedication and the desire to keep the traditions that have been passed down through the generations very much alive and present in the wines. Characteristics: Delicate and elegant, this Champagne is made 100% with Chardonnay grapes harvested in 2014. It is blended exclusively with Cuvée wines which come from the first press and are the best quality juices. Our Cuvée Blanc de Blancs is aged for a minimum of 5 to 6 years before it reaches our customers. Tasting: Nice pale yellow colour. Intense aromatic nose. Floral notes, white flowers. Well balanced and generous mouth. Nice final touch where citrus notes increase the freshness.
